$135K Median U.S. salary reported by PMP®-certified professionals
1.7M+ Professionals worldwide who currently hold the PMP® credential

PMBOK® 8

Why this matters before you enroll

Curriculum refreshed for the newest PMBOK® Guide concepts and language.
Guidance that connects principles, performance domains, and real project work.
A clear place to ask questions before choosing your PMP® training path.
You Are Not Behind

You probably do not need more random study materials. You need a better plan.

PMP® preparation can feel confusing when you are trying to balance work, family, applications, study time, and exam anxiety. This program gives you a focused path so you know what to do next.

Before You Enroll

Who can sit for the PMP® exam?

PMI sets eligibility based on your education background and how much time you have spent leading and directing projects. Most working professionals qualify through one of four paths.

01
High school diploma or GED Roughly 5 years of project leadership experience
02
Associate’s degree or vocational diploma Roughly 4 years of project leadership experience
03
Bachelor’s degree or higher Roughly 3 years of project leadership experience
04
Graduate of a PMI-accredited (GAC) program Roughly 2 years of project leadership experience

Plus 35 hours of project management education

Every path also requires 35 hours of project management training. The PMP® PDU Training and Exam Prep Program at 3T is built to satisfy this requirement while you prepare for the exam itself.

Eligibility rules are set and updated by PMI, not 3T Career Institute. Confirm your current eligibility at pmi.org before you apply, or book a time with Coach MJ and we will help you map it out.

What To Expect

What the PMP® exam actually looks like.

Knowing the shape of the exam takes some of the mystery out of the countdown. Here is the current format, refreshed for the exam PMI rolled out in July 2026 alongside the PMBOK® Guide — Eighth Edition.

180

Scored and unscored questions, completed in a 4-hour (240-minute) window, offered in 15 languages at test centers or online.

How the exam is weighted

People — 33% of the exam, focused on leading and supporting a project team
Process — 41% of the exam, focused on the technical side of running a project
Business Environment — 26% of the exam, focused on connecting projects to strategy, value, and outcomes

The July 2026 update leans further into outcomes, business value, AI-enabled delivery, and sustainability — all part of our updated curriculum.

Exam format and domain weighting reflect PMI’s published Examination Content Outline as of 2026 and are subject to change by PMI.
