Program Information

In this course, attendees understand the role of a Scrum Master in a SAFe enterprise. Unlike traditional Scrum Master training that focuses on the fundamentals of team-level Scrum, the SAFe Scrum Master course explores the role of the Scrum Master in the context of the entire enterprise. It prepares attendees to successfully plan and execute the Program Increment (PI), the primary enabler of alignment throughout all levels of a SAFe organization. This includes learning the key components of Agile at scale development, how Scrum is facilitated throughout the enterprise, and how to execute Iteration Planning.

Course Materials:

  • Preparation and eligibility to take the SAFeĀ® 5.0.1 Scrum Master (SSM) exam
  • One-year membership to the SAFe Community Platform
  • Course certificate of completion
  • Attendees must attend both days of the course to qualify for the exam.

EXAM & CERTIFICATION

  • The first step toward becoming a Certified SAFeĀ® Scrum Master is to attend the SAFeĀ® Scrum Master course. This is a requirement because attending the course provides access to all the study materials and the exam.

ABOUT THE COACH

Ms. Minaxi is an ICAgile Certified Professional Coach with over 18 years of experience training, mentoring, and coaching teams and individuals in project management and Agile methodologies. She has led Agile Teams at several US Federal Agencies, established and nurtured Agile communities of practice, and Agile Center of Excellence for Organizations resulting in delivering impactful outcomes consistently. Her experience spans a variety of domains, countries, continents, and organizations within the Commercial and Federal space while serving IT/ Non-IT leadership as well as teams.


When working with clients, she draws on neuroscience and anthropology. Utilizing Clean Language concepts, Minaxi implements and designs the learning and change process to meet people and teams where they are. She routinely speaks, volunteers, curates, writes content, and supports various conferences and meetups, including for Agile Alliance, Scrum Alliance, BSides NoVA, Agile World, and Women in Agile. She is a co-creative leader and community builder.
